This is your life . . .

Jon

Jon has always been a bit of a mystery to those of us in #A.  He doesn’t say much, he doesn’t stay long, but still there is a fascination about him—a sense of familiarity.  It took a long time to get to the bottom of his secret.  Because of various reasons, I can’t name names or dates—I can only give you a capsule bio and let you draw your own conclusions.

“A Hundred Years from Now” people will still be “All Shook Up” when they remember Jon.  Born  “In the Ghetto” of a southern state, he was always a “Ready Teddy” and longed to be a “Guitar Man” and go from “Rags to Riches”.   When he hit the “Long Lonely Highway”, he said “Don’t Cry Daddy,” “I Will Be Home Again” so “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright.”  I have to “Follow That Dream!”

It was under the “Blue Moon of Kentucky” that he met his “Earth Angel.”   She wore “High-Heeled Sneakers” and was a real “Love Machine.”  “I Want You, I Need You, I Love You,” he pleaded.  She gave him “Fever” and made him “Feel So Bad” and she finally left him “Cryin’ in the Chapel.”

Jon had “A Big Hunk O’ Love” for her, but thought, “Now and Then There’s a Fool Such as I,” and I “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” but “Where Do I Go from Here” now that “My Baby Left Me?”

“I’m Movin’ On,” he said. “Once Is Enough,” no more “One Sided Love Affair” for me!  Despite his “Memories,” he was “Wild in the Country” and soon had enough “Money Honey” to buy “A Mansion over the Hilltop.”

He now had “Girls, Girls, Girls,” but there’s “Someone You Never Forget” and he never did. “Only the Strong Survive,” even with “One Broken Heart for Sale.”

As he grew older, he got tired of his life of fame and fortune.  He found “A Good Luck Charm,” and with the aid of some hill-country “Witchcraft”and a good plastic surgeon, , he discovered the secret of “Never Ending” life.

He went “Shoppin’ Around” for a quiet place to begin a new life, and settled in the UK.  The present whereabouts of his long-lost “Little Darlin;” is “Known Only to Him,” and even though “It’s Over,” he often sits “In the Garden” with his “Blue Eyes Cryin’ in the Rain.”
