Some Chatters  were arguing about foreign policy when someone from another country joined the room.  Immediately they began to revile and attack his government.  

      "What war-mongers and arrogant people you all are," they ranted. "How dare you even talk to peaceful folk?  How can you defend a government like yours?  We'd soon show them what's what!"

    "Curse away, my friends," said the Foreigner.

  "It is easy to be brave from a safe distance."
