Enter Who Dares
April 1, 2000: Two friends, Aloof, USA and Desmond, UK decided to form a chat room on the then booming ChatNet. The web page for #A was begun in August, 2001 by philjob, and soon annie1 joined him. By March 28, 2003, #A page had had 6,670 visitors . (Amazing how many strange people there are in the world isn't it?) #A was a wonderful place. We laughed, loved, argued, and cried together. Some fell in love, some fell out of love, but we endured. Eventually most of the regulars moved on to other things in life, and the room all but closed in April 2003.
#A didn't completely die, but the magic had left. In May, 2005 the webpage was updated, but #A never regained its special blend of wit, intelligence, and fun.
The old web pages were saved, and most of them were moved to this site so the old-timers of #A can hobble down memory lane once in a while. Enjoy!
